Japanese artist Taku Bannai creates his tranquil, atmospheric images from colored paper cutouts, which he arranges into simple figures and scenes on large, empty surfaces. The result is a unique blend of quiet, minimalist depictions of everyday life.
Bannai's works are exhibited throughout Japan; his clients include Japan Post Bank, Suntory, JAL, MINI, Shinchosha, and Magazine House, among others.
