The Tabineko wall calendar brings together twelve lovingly designed illustrations by Toshinori Mori. At the heart of the calendar are a black cat and her calico friend, who travel across Japan together, experiencing the four seasons along the way.

Each day includes a proverb, the lunar calendar date, the weather forecast, and classifications according to traditional astrological systems such as the Nine Stars, Ten Heavenly Stems, Twelve Earthly Branches, and Twenty-Eight Mansions.
