Candle set 'Amerind Purification' | Haze

These scentless Japanese candles (warosoku) are made from natural Haze (sumac) tree wax and contain special salt for purification. Each candle is handmade and fitted with a wick made of Washi paper.
The flame of these candles creates a beautiful warm, deep orange glow, lending a peaceful, harmonious atmosphere.

Haze is a manufacturer of Japanese Warosoku candles based in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture. Haze candles are made by experienced artisans using the ancient Japanese "Tegake-seiho" technique, where wax is applied in multiple layers. The candles are made from the plant that gives them their name, Haze (sumac), the fruit of the Japanese wax tree. This natural material produces a powerful flame with very little soot.
