Tōyō-Sasaki Glass was created in 2002 through the merger of two of Japan's oldest glass manufacturers: Tōyō (founded 1878) and Sasaki (founded 1902). Their glass products are timeless and durable; many series have been used in gastronomy for decades due to their robustness, and some of their products have received the prestigious Good Design Award.
