Furoshiki are traditional Japanese square cloths used for wrapping and carrying a wide variety of items.
Size L Furoshiki are suitable for tying bags, wrapping clothes, or packaging two wine bottles.
As an evergreen tree, the pine retains its green color even in winter, symbolizing longevity and vitality.

Traditionally, printed textiles are usually only dyed on one side, while the reverse side remains slightly faded or unprinted. Together with experienced artisans and the Isa Monyo design studio, Musubi has developed a technique to create fully reversible Furoshiki with two differently designed sides. This is a major technical challenge, especially with such thin fabrics, as colors often bleed unevenly and patterns become blurry. Achieving a clear design and balanced color effect on both sides is therefore considered a special artisanal achievement.

Thanks to the water-repellent coating (Aqua Drop), water beads off the cloth, protecting bags and luggage from sudden rain. The cloth can also be used as a seat pad or tablecloth. If the water-repellent effect diminishes, it can be restored by ironing at a medium temperature.

Musubi is the main brand of Yamada-Sen'i, a company founded in Kyoto in 1937, and stands for modern Furoshiki. The name Musubi (結び) means 'to tie' or 'to connect' and refers to the art of tying things together as well as to the connection between people, things, and tradition.
