Shipping policy


Tokoro delivers within Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and neighbouring European countries. If your destination country is not listed, please feel free to contact us by email: hello@tokoro.ch

Customers can choose between two delivery options during the ordering process:

  • Pickup at our store in Zurich
  • Delivery to the shipping address

Orders are generally shipped via Swiss Post within 1–3 business days after the order is placed.

 

Switzerland and Liechtenstein

Deliveries to CH / LIE are free of charge for orders of CHF 100 or more (Economy shipping).

For orders under CHF 100, shipping costs are CHF 9 for Economy shipments (delivery within 2–4 business days) and CHF 11 for Priority shipments (delivery within 1–2 business days).

 

Europe Zone A

Zone A includes the following countries: Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Austria.

Shipments to destinations outside Switzerland are also sent via Swiss Post as Priority Plus parcels (with tracking number). International shipping costs depend on weight and dimensions and are displayed during the checkout process.

Shipments to destinations outside Switzerland may be subject to customs duties and VAT of the destination country. Tokoro has no influence over these costs; they are the responsibility of the customer.

For environmental reasons, we use recycled packaging materials whenever possible.

 

Returns or Exchanges

Returns or exchanges must be sent back with the delivery note within 10 days of receiving the goods. The goods must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging. The customer bears the cost of return shipping. A copy of the delivery note or invoice must be included with the return. A note explaining the reason for the return is mandatory.

There is no right of return for discounted items (sale) as well as vintage objects and antiques. If a return or exchange is accepted as a goodwill gesture, a voucher for the paid amount (excluding shipping costs) will be issued. All other claims are excluded.

 

Claim

All items are checked before shipping and leave the store in perfect condition. The customer must check the order immediately upon receipt and report any defects in writing (by email to: hello@tokoro.ch) within 3 business days of delivery of the goods. Tokoro will examine each individual case to determine how the defect is to be classified. After the third business day, the goods are considered to have been accepted without complaint.
