Charming set consisting of a bottle (tokkuri) and two different-sized cups, which, when stacked, form the shape of a snowman (yuki daruma). 'Shuki daruma' is a pun, combining shuki (sake vessel) and yuki daruma (snowman). When stacked, the set is easy to store.
When warming sake, the cups are warmed without coming into contact with water, and in summer, the snowman can be placed directly in the refrigerator.
Ceramic Japan Co., Ltd. was founded in 1973 in Seto (Aichi Prefecture) with the goal of developing high-quality designs based on traditional craftsmanship. From the outset, the company worked closely with designers from various fields, creating innovative, artistic products that harmoniously combine design and craftsmanship.
Seto remains a significant center for porcelain, ceramics, and stoneware to this day – so much so that ceramics are generally referred to as setomono in Japanese.
