Furoshiki are traditional Japanese square cloths used for wrapping and carrying a variety of items.
Furoshiki in size S are suitable for lunchboxes, paperbacks, jam jars, fruits, perfume bottles, etc.
Size M is suitable for medium-sized gifts and A4-sized items, for books or individual wine bottles.
As an evergreen tree, the pine retains its green color even in winter, symbolizing longevity and vitality.
Traditionally, printed textiles are usually only dyed on one side, while the reverse side remains slightly faded or unprinted. However, in collaboration with experienced artisans and the Isa Monyo design studio, Musubi has developed a technique for producing double-sided Furoshiki with different colors. This series is characterized by unparalleled craftsmanship.
Musubi is the main brand of Yamada-Sen'i, a company founded in Kyoto in 1937, and stands for modern Furoshiki. The name Musubi (結び) means 'to tie' or 'to connect' and refers to the art of tying as well as the connection between people, things, and tradition.
