Small, reversible Furoshiki by Isa Monyo with an all-over knot design - a symbol for the relationship between people.

Furoshiki are traditional Japanese square cloths used for wrapping and carrying various items. Size S Furoshiki are suitable for lunchboxes, paperbacks, jam jars, fruit, perfume bottles, etc.

Traditionally, printed textiles are usually dyed only on one side, while the reverse side remains slightly faded or unprinted. However, together with experienced artisans and the Isa Monyo design studio, Musubi has developed a technique for producing double-sided furoshiki with different colours. This series impresses with unparalleled craftsmanship.

Musubi is the main brand of Yamada-Sen'i, founded in Kyoto in 1937, and stands for modern Furoshiki. The name Musubi (結び) means 'to tie' or 'to connect' and refers to the art of tying as well as the connection between people, things and tradition.
