Wafer-thin, feather-light, yet robust glass, manufactured with Tōyō-Sasaki Glass's Hard Strong (HS) Technology. By heating and then rapidly cooling the glass, a strong hardened layer is created, making the glass more scratch-resistant and robust. Tōyō-Sasaki Glass was formed in 2002 through the merger of two of Japan's oldest glass manufacturers: Tōyō (founded 1878) and Sasaki (founded 1902).
