Drinking Beer like in Japan

Enjoying bottled beer in small glasses is widespread in Japanese izakayas and restaurants. This keeps the aroma fresh and prevents the beer from becoming lukewarm. By pouring for each other, one also practices the Japanese drinking etiquette of o-shaku, the custom of pouring sake or beer for others but not for oneself.
The thin, light, yet robust glass is suitable not only for beer but for any other beverage.

Tōyō-Sasaki Glass was formed in 2002 through the merger of two of Japan's oldest glass manufacturers: Tōyō (founded 1878) and Sasaki (founded 1902). Their glass products are timeless and durable, with many series having been used in gastronomy for decades due to their robustness; some of their products have received the prestigious Good Design Award.
