Drinking Beer like in Japan

Enjoying bottled beer in small glasses is widespread in Japanese izakayas and restaurants. This keeps the aroma fresh and prevents the beer from becoming lukewarm. By pouring for each other, one also practices the Japanese drinking etiquette of o-shaku, the custom of pouring sake or beer for others but not for oneself.

Tōyō-Sasaki Glass was formed in 2002 through the merger of two of Japan's oldest glass manufacturers: Tōyō (founded 1878) and Sasaki (founded 1902).
