Junzo Sakakura and Daisaku Chō were known for their collaboration in furniture design. Chō worked at the Architectural Research Institute, which was founded by architect Sakakura. Their collaboration led to furniture designs that combined Japanese aesthetics with modernism and often incorporated traditional materials and techniques.
