Japanese artist Taku Bannai creates his calm, atmospheric images from coloured paper cut-outs, which he arranges into simple figures and scenes in large, empty spaces. This results in unique, quiet, minimalist everyday scenes.

Bannai’s works are exhibited throughout Japan, and his clients include Japan Post Bank, Suntory, JAL, MINI, Shinchosha and Magazine House, among others.
