With its spindle back and legs, the design is reminiscent of a Windsor chair. However, what is special about the Spoke Chair is the construction of the seat: a further oval, upholstered seat is placed on top of the oval seat frame, protruding forwards. The low seat and the spoked backrest create an open sense of space, and the generous seat allows for various sitting positions - almost like on a tatami mat!
