A must-have for the (Japanese) kitchen: a simple, beautifully shaped vessel with a circular grating surface made of small teeth, with a surrounding collecting groove and a pouring spout. Suitable for ginger, garlic, wasabi. The Sitaku collection includes numerous kitchen utensils in a modular, minimalist design. The Japanese porcelain manufacturer Kihara Inc., based in Arita, the birthplace of Japanese porcelain, was founded in 1955 and today combines 400 years of craftsmanship with 3D design and high-tech.

Furniture and product designer Makoto Koizumi founded Koizumi Studios in Tokyo in 1990. His award-winning designs range from chopstick rests and furniture to larger architectural projects.
