Deep bowl for donburi dishes and noodle soups. Thanks to the downward tapering shape, even the last noodles can be picked up effortlessly. The size is also suitable for ramen, and the bowl is light and stackable. However, for those who prefer a lot of broth and rich toppings, bowls with a capacity of 1200–1400 ml are the right size.

To conserve clay resources, Yu Porcelain has reduced clay consumption by 20% to 30% compared to conventional tableware. This has made the tableware significantly lighter. The weight reduction is achieved by the ribbed wall and a special manufacturing process: thinly formed, unbaked clay bodies are first slowly dried and then fired in a roller hearth kiln.
