Sake Glass 70ml - Yanagi Sori | Toyo-Sasaki

With this glass, product designer Yanagi Sōri wanted to develop a design that is immediately recognizable as a sake glass. The small bowl stands on a stable base and fits beautifully between the fingers. Ideal for cold sake. Also available: the sake carafe (tokkuri) made of glass.

Tōyō-Sasaki Glass was formed in 2002 through the merger of two of Japan's oldest glass manufacturers: Tōyō (founded 1878) and Sasaki (founded 1902). Their glass products are timeless and durable, many series have been used in gastronomy for decades due to their robustness, and some of their products have been awarded the prestigious Good Design Award.
