Ramen and Soup Spoon 'Renge' | Tokiwa

Renge spoons originally come from China. The porcelain spoons with a flat bottom are mainly used in Japan for ramen or chāhan. Practical advantage: The spoon has a small hook at the end of the handle and can be hung on the rim of the bowl. The shape resembles a fallen lotus petal ('chirirenge') - hence the name 'renge'.
