Japanese artist Taku Bannai creates his serene, atmospheric pictures from coloured paper cut-outs, which he arranges into simple figures and scenes within large, empty spaces. This results in quiet, minimalist everyday scenes of a special kind.

Bannai's works are exhibited throughout Japan, and his clients include Japan Post Bank, Suntory, JAL, MINI, Shinchosha, and Magazine House, among others.
