Brass Coaster 'Taiyo (Sun)' | Futagami

Born in Hiroshima, designer and architect Masanori Oji creates timeless everyday objects using traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

The brass foundry Futagami was founded in 1897 in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. In Japan, brass was primarily used for metal fittings in furniture making, architecture, shipbuilding, handicrafts, and for Buddhist altar furnishings.
