The elegant 'Moon' coaster made of solid brass protects the table and looks good at the same time.
Over time, the color of the metal changes due to oxidation: the longer brass objects are used, the richer and finer the surface becomes.

Born in Hiroshima, designer and architect Masanori Oji creates timeless everyday objects using traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

The brass foundry Futagami was founded in 1897 in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. In Japan, brass was mainly used for metal fittings in furniture making, architecture, shipbuilding, handicrafts, and for Buddhist altar furnishings.
