The two-part sphere serves as both a candle holder for Japanese candles and an incense stick holder. When not in use, the sphere becomes a beautiful decorative object.

Haze is a manufacturer of Japanese Warosoku candles based in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture. Haze candles are handcrafted by skilled artisans using the ancient Japanese technique of "Tegake-seiho," which involves applying wax in multiple layers. The candles are made from the Haze (Sumac) plant, the fruit of the Japanese wax tree. This natural material produces a powerful flame with very little soot.
