The two-piece ball is a candlestick for Japanese candles and an incense stick holder in one. When not in use, the ball becomes a beautiful decorative object.

Haze is a manufacturer of Japanese Warosoku candles based in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture. Haze's candles are made by experienced artisans using the ancient Japanese technique "Tegake-seiho," in which wax is applied in multiple layers. The candles are made from the plant Haze (sumac), the fruit of the Japanese wax tree, from which they get their name. This natural material produces a powerful flame with very little soot.
