The two-part sphere serves as both a candlestick for Japanese candles and an incense holder. When not in use, the sphere becomes a beautiful decorative object.

Haze is a manufacturer of Japanese Warosoku candles based in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture. Haze candles are made by skilled artisans using the ancient Japanese "Tegake-seiho" technique, where wax is applied in multiple layers. The candles are made from the namesake Haze (Sumac) plant, the fruit of the Japanese wax tree. This natural material produces a powerful flame with very little soot.
