Candle set 'Buddhist Tranquility' | Haze

These unscented, Japanese candles (warosoku) are made from natural wax of the Haze tree (sumac) and contain special salt for purification. Each candle is handmade and fitted with a wick made of washi paper.
The flame of these candles creates a beautiful warm, deep orange and provides a peaceful, harmonious atmosphere.

Haze is a manufacturer of Japanese Warosoku candles based in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture. Haze candles are made by skilled artisans using the ancient Japanese "Tegake-seiho" technique, where wax is applied in multiple layers. The candles are made from the namesake Haze plant (sumac), the fruit of the Japanese wax tree. This natural material produces a powerful flame with very little soot.
