Wooden Animal Figurine Cat 'Hachiware' | T-Lab

Cats are among the most popular animals in Japan, and "hachiware" (tuxedo) cats are considered especially cute. Their name describes the characteristic triangular fur pattern on their face, which resembles the Japanese character for eight, 八 ("hachi").

You simply have to love the lovingly designed animal collection from the Japanese design studio T-Lab! Each wooden figure is a small, unique piece with its own character – just like in nature, no two figures are exactly alike. The wooden animals are hand-carved in Bali from sustainably grown albizia wood, polished, and carefully hand-painted with plant-based pigments. The figures are lightweight and feel comfortable in the hand.

Whether as a gift, a thoughtful souvenir, or a natural decoration – T-Lab wooden animals are a delight for young and old alike.
