HA KO, which means "leaf incense" in Japanese, is a fragrance series made from washi paper in elegant leaf shapes, soaked in natural essential oils. As potpourri, the leaves spread their delicate scent for up to three months; when lit as incense sticks, they burn for about five to seven minutes, emitting their fragrance and deodorizing the room. When burning, it is recommended to use the corresponding felt mat.

Kunjudo was founded in 1893 on Awaji. Awaji Island is considered the birthplace of Japanese incense, with its history beginning when a fragrant piece of wood drifted to the island's coast. The island is still the epicenter of Japanese incense production today.
