The simple leaf contains the delicate "White Floral" scent, a pleasant, mild aroma of fresh flowers.
HA KO, meaning "leaf incense," is a fragrance series made from Washi paper in elegant leaf shapes, infused with natural essential oils. As potpourri, the leaves spread their delicate fragrance for up to three months; when lit as incense sticks, they burn for about five to seven minutes, emitting their scent and deodorizing the room.

Kunjudo was founded in 1893 on Awaji. Awaji Island is considered the birthplace of Japanese incense, its history beginning when a fragrant piece of wood drifted ashore on the island. The island remains the epicenter of Japanese incense production to this day.
