The ginkgo leaf exudes the scent of dry autumn grass combined with the traditional autumn scent of fennel and the nourishing bitterness of ginkgo.

HA KO, which translates to "leaf incense", is a fragrance series made from washi paper in elegant leaf shapes, infused with natural essential oils. As potpourri, the leaves spread their delicate scent for up to three months; when lit as incense sticks, they burn for about five to seven minutes, releasing their fragrance and deodorizing the room. When burning, it is recommended to use the corresponding felt mat.

Kunjudo was founded in 1893 in Awaji. Awaji Island is considered the birthplace of Japanese incense, whose history began when a fragrant piece of wood drifted ashore on the island. The island is still the epicenter of Japanese incense production today.
