HA KO Paper Scent Leaf
This simple leaf contains the gentle scent “Green Grass”, a natural and lively fragrance of lush meadows.
HA KO, which means “Leaf Incense” in Japanese, is a fragrance series made from Washi paper in an elegant leaf shape, infused with natural essential oils. As potpourri, the leaves spread their delicate scent for up to three months; when lit as incense sticks, they burn for about five to seven minutes, emitting their fragrance and deodorizing the room.
Kunjudo was founded in 1893 on Awaji. Awaji Island is considered the birthplace of Japanese incense, whose history began when a fragrant piece of wood drifted to the island's shore. The island is still the epicenter of Japanese incense production today.
