This simple leaf contains the noble and rare scent of agarwood, an ingredient in traditional incense.
HA KO, which translates to "leaf incense," is a fragrance series made from washi paper in an elegant leaf shape, infused with natural essential oils. As potpourri, the leaves spread their delicate scent for up to three months. When lit as incense sticks, they burn for about five to seven minutes, emitting their fragrance and deodorizing the room. When burning, it is recommended to use the accompanying felt mat.

Kunjudo was founded in Awaji in 1893. Awaji Island is considered the birthplace of Japanese incense, whose history began when a fragrant piece of wood drifted ashore on the island. The island remains the epicenter of Japanese incense production today.
