This is due to the difficult accessibility of many forest areas, which are mostly located in mountainous terrain. The Japanese company Japanese Botanical Laboratory has set itself the goal of developing these unused forestry resources in an innovative way, thereby promoting the livelihood of rural communities by utilizing native forests as a source of high-quality gourmet ingredients.
