Large bowl, versatile for donburi dishes or also for pasta and salad.

The name "Kurawanka" dates back to the Edo period, when merchants on the Yodo River offered their food from tea boats with the cry "kurawanka?" ("Would you like to eat?"). They served it in large, thick-walled bowls with a high foot – a shape that is still known today as a "Kurawanka" bowl.

Hasami porcelain has been produced for 400 years in Hasami, a town in Nagasaki Prefecture known for its pottery.
