The Low Table by Saburo Inui has been a long-time bestseller for furniture manufacturer Tendo Mokko since its creation. Its characteristic features are the rounded corners that gently slope downwards from the tabletop and widen laterally. The elegant, slender form and the use of plywood make the table visually and physically lighter and more mobile than traditional low tables, which were typically made of solid wood and were correspondingly heavy.
The furniture manufacturer Tendo Mokko is considered a pioneer of molded plywood processing in Japan and was one of the first companies to successfully market this technique.
