Choku or choko , a traditional Japanese eating and drinking vessel, is generally a small ceramic cup for soba broth. Originating in Arita in the 17th century, these small pots have become popular collector's items over the centuries. With the CHOKU series, Amabro has reinterpreted a classic tableware form, each piece featuring traditional patterns. Originally intended for soba or sake, these vessels can be used for hot or cold drinks, small dishes, or desserts, as desired.

True to their motto "Art in Everyday Life," Amabro designs stylish everyday objects for modern living, using traditional Japanese elements as a foundation, which they reinterpret or combine with modern details. Their choku pieces feature modern, graphic designs overlaid on traditional, classic patterns. It's a cool mix that brings Arita's 400-year-old porcelain tradition to the contemporary dining table.
