CELL plate | Ceramic Japan

A plate like a work of art! As the name suggests, the Cell Plate consists of many small cells, i.e., round depressions, which multiply outwards. The unglazed porcelain gives the whole a sense of restraint and simplicity, so that the plate fits in beautifully everywhere. Whether as a fruit or appetizer platter or simply as a decorative element on the table, the Cell Plate is an original piece that brings joy.

Ceramic Japan Co., Ltd. was founded in 1973 in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, with the goal of creating sophisticated designs using traditional craftsmanship. From the beginning, Ceramic Japan planned and developed products in collaboration with designers from various fields (not just ceramics) and achieved innovative and artistic results that embody a perfect fusion of design and skill.
Seto remains an important production site for porcelain, ceramics, and stoneware to this day. So important that the general term for ceramics in Japanese is simply called "setomono."
