A plate like a work of art! The Cell Plate consists – as the name suggests – of many small cells, meaning round indentations, that multiply outwards. The unglazed porcelain gives the whole a sense of restraint and simplicity, so that the plate fits in beautifully anywhere. Whether as a fruit or appetizer platter or simply as a decorative element on the table, the Cell Plate is an original piece that brings joy.

Ceramic Japan Co., Ltd. was founded in 1973 in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, with the goal of producing sophisticated designs using traditional craftsmanship. From the beginning, Ceramic Japan planned and developed products in collaboration with designers from various fields (not just ceramics) and achieved innovative and artistic results that embody a perfect fusion of design and skill.
To this day, Seto remains an important production site for porcelain, ceramics, and stoneware. So important that the general term for ceramics in Japanese is simply called "setomono."
