'Shallow' because the bowls are shallower and wider than the traditional rice bowls that were previously common, which were deeper and narrower to keep the rice warm for as long as possible. Reflecting modern lifestyles where food no longer needs to get cold, Mori developed the \u003cem\u003eHirachawan\u003c\/em\u003e . The shallow bowls allow dishes to be presented more visually and make the designs more visible. Furthermore, the shallower bowls are easier to stack. \u003cem\u003eHirachawan\u003c\/em\u003e are suitable not only for rice but also for appetizers, small dishes, soups, desserts, and much more. \u003cbr\u003eSince its launch, the \u003cem\u003eHirachawan\u003c\/em\u003e series has remained an extremely popular product line from the Hakusan Tōki factory. With over 100 designs, there's something for everyone.
